About Dr. Sumit Goyal
Dr. Sumit Goyal is one of those few neurosurgeons who are also experts in Neuro-intervention techniques. He went to the reputed Sir Ganga Ram Hospital for his DNB in neurosurgery, after which he pursued his interest in Neuro-endovascular therapy for neurovascular disorders.
He had a bright academic career and has won many awards during his training and received simultaneous first and second prizes in the ninth Delhi Course of Neuro-intervention also. He is also a three-time recipient of the Young Neurosurgeon travel fellowship awarded by the World Federation of Neurosurgery to attend and present his work at the World Congress of Neurosurgery.
He is an invited faculty in many national neurosurgery meetings and has many publications in international journals to his credit. Besides his main area of expertise in neuroendovascular therapy, he has excellent skills in micro neurosurgery for brain and spinal disorders.
