Dr. Sabharwal is the 4th generation doctor in his family of 140 doctors. His special interest is in Shoulder Surgery and Sports Injuries of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee, and ankle.
He returned to Delhi after completing years of fellowship training in Upper Limb Surgery and Arthroscopic (Key Hole) Surgery for Sports Injuries from Adelaide, Australia. He worked at the hospitals associated with the Southern Adelaide Health Network, one of which being the FMC which is the largest tertiary care center in South Australia. He has undergone special training in Shoulder and Elbow Disorders at the Repatriation General Hospital, Adelaide, Australia.
He has trained under prominent figures like Prof. Krishnan, Prof. Greg Bain, and Dr. Meng Ling knew worldwide for their work in Upper Limb Pathologies.
Eminent Sports Injury surgeons like Dr. Shannon Sim, Dr. Mario Penta, and Dr. Matthew Liptak were his mentors during his training in Australia.
